Bamboo
is a rapid growing grass and unlike wood can be harvested every 3-5 years,
therefore sources are replenished at a phenomenal rate. This makes bamboo
flooring very environmentally friendly.
Installing
a bamboo floor leaves you with a floor covering which is very durable
and easy to maintain. Bamboo offers a unique style which can work with
almost any room decor, and gives a warm, welcoming appearance.
Every effort
is made to ensure the bamboo flooring
conforms to E-1 European Standards. |

Marmoleum
is a natural product made from linseed oil, woodflour, pine rosin, jute
and limestone. As long as the sun shines and the rain falls we can continue
to produce Marmoleum. Once installed, Marmoleum is hygienic and anti-static.
After its long life, it is completely biologically degradable. And so, in
the end, the product will give its materials back to nature. As
a naturally hygienic floorcovering, Marmoleum is different from most floors.
It is made from natural materials, is bacteriostatic, biodegradable, and
provides no hiding place for dust mites. It is also easy to clean, hardwearing
and comes in a vast range
of colours and designs.
Marmoleum is the ideal floor for a healthy home.

In
the late 1800's a Danish law required vigorous replanting schedules and
responsible reforestry harvesting. This law is still in effect today and
has lead to a significant increase in forrested land for the past 100
years. To ensure the continued success of this positive trend, Junckers
has recently become a member of the new Pan-European Forest Certification
(PEFC) - a third party organization certifying that timber is harvested
in accordance within international guidelines on sustainable forestry. |

PEFC
- Pan European Forest Certification
When you buy a Quick-Step® floor, you are acquiring an extremely environment-friendly
floor. More and more often people are opting in favour of wood to build
and decorate their homes. But at the same time we all want to maintain our
forests. That is why forest certification has been developed: a new tool
to improve the sustainable management of our forests. Recently Quick-Step®
obtained PEFC forest certification. So we pride ourselves on the fact that
you can enjoy the most beautiful wood patterns without having to damage
our forests. |

PERGO®
was the first laminate flooring to receive the Nordic Ecolabel –
the Swan, which is based on an evaluation of the environmental impact
of a product during its whole life cycle. This label certifies that a
PERGO floor is a sound environmental choice.
Pergo was
also the first flooring company to be certified according to the environmental
standard ISO 14001. In addition, PEFC certification ensures that all the
wood and paper products are manufactured using raw materials from renewable
forests. |
